Overview
Telaga Hill is one of the places in Lombok where paragliding provides a stunning scenic experience, specifically in the Sembalun mountain area. In Sembalun, there are many paragliding sites that offer different installation settings. The backdrop of Mount Rinjani, residential areas, plantations, and views of rice fields set the scene.
Specifically, the Bukit Telaga site offers a flying experience with views of checkered rice fields, Mount Rinjani, and community settlements. One can consider flying from Telaga Hill the most comprehensive experience, as it provides views of nearly every aspect of Sembalun.
To fly from Telaga Hill, you need to trek for 30 minutes to the take-off location for paragliding. There is no vehicle access, so you have to be prepared to take your time to drive to the take-off location on Bukit Telaga.
After flying for a few minutes, the pilot will then take you to the main landing place, namely the Sembalun sports field. If the flying height is not high enough and it is not possible to land at the main landing place, the pilot will choose several other alternative places to land. Pilots will decide what is best and always place safety first.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your place of stay in Sembalun, or if your accommodation is close to our location, you can come to our office. Alternatively, if you have your own vehicle, you can come directly to our location.
We will charge an additional fee, specifically for those who order pick-up outside Sembalun, as explained above. Our driver will pick you up in the area around Lombok Island, then drop you off at Sembalun village.
After that, we will drop you off at the Bukit Telaga parking lot. Next, start climbing towards the Telaga Hill paragliding site. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to the paragliding takeoff location.
Once you arrive at the site, make sure all the flying equipment is ready and safe to fly. Next, our pilot and staff will guide you through the technical details of paragliding. Make sure all your items are safe; put them in your bag and don't let them fall when flying.
When the wind is normal and supports flying, take-off can begin. If there are large numbers of participants flying, the pilot will try to take off at the same location. However, if you are alone or with two people, the pilot will immediately take you to the designated landing place.
If you have a history of heart disease, acrophobia, or pregnancy, we do not recommend tandem paragliding for you.
MEETING POINT
- We will meet at our office in Sembalun Village, East Lombok Regency.
- For those of you who live outside Sembaun, we also provide transportation to pick you up and take you back after your flight. The price for pick-up and drop-off stations is USD 65.

• Women who are pregnant, have a history of heart disease, or have issues with heights should not participate in this activity.
• Participants must range from 5 to 65 years old.
• Maximum weight: 110 kg
• This activity depends on weather conditions and wind conditions; we may offer to reschedule flights or refund customers who cannot fly.
CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY
• For cancellations, please inform us 12 hours before flying.
• For cancellations or changes to flight schedules, please notify us using email or WhatsApp.
• Refunds will be processed using PayPal.
• You will get a return minus the transaction fee. Should the weather conditions prevent the flight for several days,
